Arizona

When your best friend, who also happened to be your college roommate, bridesmaid and look-a-like, moves three time zones away to Arizona it can mean only one thing … Vacation in the desert!!!

I flew into Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and we were off! Our first stop was Flagstaff. Flagstaff is a ski town and playground for those who want to escape the Arizona heat! It doesn’t take long to see why people are drawn to it’s mountains and beauty.

Almost to the top!

What. a. view!

Next up was a day in Sedona. Our time there included lots of hiking through the many trails and admiring the beauty of the desert. We also forked over some cash and went on a tour with Pink Jeep Tours. It was money well spent!

We stopped in a weird little town named Jerome on our way back south. I say “stopped” because we didn’t really stay long … I was too freaked out by it’s strangeness! Haha!

Middle of No-where-ville!

Hmmm, maybe this is what freaked me out?

No .... maybe it was THIS that had be wanting to go.

We enjoyed a night in Phoenix before I (sadly) departed. I’d love to go back soon because I really miss Arizona, errrr, my best friend, SO MUCH! 😉
